Cassandra Fleck
Cassandra Marie “Cass” Fleck, 32, of North Manchester, formerly of Akron, passed away at 8:11 p.m. on Sunday, June 21, 2020, at Major Hospital in Shelbyville. She was born on July 20, 1987 in Warsaw, to Charles Edward and Lisa Marie (Kindig) Slone III. She was later adopted by Timothy R. Fleck.
She lived most of her life in Fulton County before moving to North Manchester in January 2020 and attended Tippecanoe Valley High School. She was a homemaker and formerly attended the Akron Church of God.
She is survived by her daughter: Leila Hinson at home; son Shaun Hinson at home; mother: Lisa Fleck of North Manchester; two brothers: Cory Fleck of Arizona and Craig Fleck of North Manchester; grandparents: Rose and Loren Berger of North Webster and Linda Slone Gatdke of Warsaw and Sharon Meenen of Macy
She was preceded in death by her fathers: Charles Edward Slone III and Timothy Fleck, maternal grandfather, Jerry Kindig, paternal grandfathers, Charles Edward Slone II and Ben Fleck, and paternal step grandfather, Howard Meenen.
Cremation will take place at Cremation Services of Kosciusko County, 4356 N. SR 15, Warsaw. Visitation will be from 5 – 7 p.m. on Tuesday, June 30, at Akron Church of God, 301 S. West St, Akron. Memorial services will follow at 7p.m. on Tuesday in the church. Owen Family Funeral Home, SR 13 and Cr 500N, North Webster, is in charge of arrangements.
