Jerry E. McCollery, 75, North Manchester, passed away at 12:30 p.m. April 20, 2016 at his North Manchester residence.
He was born July 19, 1940 in Elkhart County, to Edgar and Violet (Brown) McColley. The preceded him.
He married Linda Lee Copeland Oct. 3, 1994. She survives.
He graduated from Goshe High School and enjoyed spending time with his family, fishing and cooking. He was a retired union painter and served in the Army and Air Force.
He is survived by his sons: Edward (Lori) McColley, Cincinnati, Ohio; Skip (Shelly) Smeltzer, New Paris; his step-son: Greg (Becky) Dome, Pierceton; his daughters: Michelle Fry, Miami, Fla.; Kristen Price, Wabash; his step-daughters: Lavada (Woody) Jarrett, Loganville, Ga.; Cathy (Mark) Davenport, Roann; his sisters: Doris Warren, Fort Wayne; Beatrice Mast, Howe; 29 grandchildren; ten great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, April 25 at McKee Mortuary in North Manchester. Visitation will be held from 10-11 a.m. Monday, April 25. Pastor Dave Cox will officiate. Burial will be held at Violett Cemetery, Goshen, at a later date.
